Our first day in Arusha with Agness and her daughter Happiness. We walked through town to a shop with so much fabric that it was fun deciding which ones to buy. Then back to her tailor shop for directions on skirts, shirts, napkins, tablecloths and so much more. We'll pick up the unique creations at the end, on our way out of town. Off to Tarangire National Park!

Arumeru River Lodge
Hello everyone! I've finally gotten around to starting a blog and more information online about my safaris. I'll be sending every few days (hopefully), as we progress through Northern Tanzania. A short one to get us started...
We landed in the evening at Kilimanjaro Int'l Airport and enjoyed a very welcome night at Arumeru River Lodge. Lovely grounds with the smallest antelope the Dik Dik as well as so many beautiful birds. Off to join the reveling safari goers, more later.
