ITINERARY 15 OCTOBER—29 OCTOBER 2016
Animal & Human Connections, Natural World
Saturday 15 or Sunday 16 October
Departure From Europe: *Direct KLM: AMS to JRO (*International flights not included)
Sunday 16 – Monday 17 October
Arrive pm flight into JRO (Kilimanjaro International Airport), evening transfer to lodge.
Next day activities: Arusha walking town tours, local businesses, seamstress, and a home visit with our guides.

Tuesday 18 – Thursday 20 October
Via Shanga Enterprises to Tarangire National Park for wildlife viewing and stay. This is one of my favorite parks and is the best time of the year for wildlife here.

Drive through Mto Wa Mbu & Karatu to Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA): Village Elder (Daniel), Coffee Plantation, Elephant Caves, Hill walks & School visits.
Ngorongoro “Crater”/Caldera (& NCA): Our leader Donatus, is the head of the protection and preservation of the Rhinoceros and knows them by name. He is now also the head of the elephant conservation in the NCA.
NGORONGORO LUXURY TENTED CAMP
Monday 24 October
Proceed through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with game drives en route via villages, Odupai Museum (Leakey archeological finds), then into the world famous Serengeti National Park. Connections to be found here with the elusive leopard, more prides of lions, herds on the plains and hippo’s.
SERENGETI SERONERA AREA LUXURY TENTED CAMP
Tuesday 25 – Thursday 27 October
Depart for a full day game drive through the vastness of the Serengeti. (At this camp, an early morning Balloon Flight is optional and exceptional).
SERENGETI NORTHERN AREA LUXURY TENTED CAMP
Friday 28 October
Flight from Serengeti to Arusha.
Transfer via day room to airport for evening International flight out. (End of Services drop off at Kilimanjaro International/JRO). Arriving Saturday 29 October.

Flight via Arusha to Zanzibar: Old Stone Town & Forodhani Gardens tour.
TEMBO HOTEL
Saturday 29 – Monday 31 October
A morning of shopping, City/Historical Tour; to the Beach hotel via Spice tour, dinner at lodge. (Jozani tour, beach, The Rock Restaurant and optional water activities).
ECHO BEACH HOTEL
Tuesday 1 November
Fly out of ZNZ to DAR. Day room for refreshing prior to dinner and transfer to DAR. *End of Services.
*Most travelers will then be leaving on a late evening/early morning flight departure from Dar es Salaam. DAR via Amsterdam or other, arriving Wednesday 2 November.
Rates Per Person: The 2016 rates are based on a group of 15 guests.

Mainland safari may be taken singly without the addition of Zanzibar days.
